Day 1: Arrival in Gaborone

Upon arrival at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your comfortable guesthouse.

  • Evening: Enjoy a delicious dinner as we meet for a detailed tour briefing, where your guide will walk you through the week’s adventures, answer questions, and help you settle in.

Day 2: Discovering Gaborone

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before exploring Botswana’s capital city.

  • Morning: Gaborone City Tour – key landmarks, cultural highlights, and local markets.

  • Afternoon: Visit the historic Livingstone Memorial, learning about the famous explorer’s connection to Botswana.
    Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

 

Day 3: Gaborone ➝ Francistown (via Matsieng Footprints & Tropic of Capricorn)

We depart Gaborone after breakfast and travel north toward Francistown.

  • En-route:

    • Stop at the Matsieng Footprints, a remarkable archaeological site linked to ancient legends.

    • Pause at the iconic Tropic of Capricorn monument in Mahalapye for photos and storytelling.
      Arrive in Francistown in the late afternoon and settle in.

Day 4: Shashe Dam Excursion

Today we visit the scenic Shashe Dam, a peaceful haven for birdlife and photography. Enjoy the tranquility, learn about the dam’s environmental importance, and take time to relax in nature.

Day 5: Journey to Kasane

After breakfast, we hit the road toward Kasane, the wildlife gateway of Botswana.

  • Travel through beautiful landscapes including woodlands, traditional villages, and open savannahs.

  • Arrival in Kasane in the late afternoon.

Day 6–7: Kasane, Lesoma & Chobe National Park Adventures

Two full days of unforgettable exploration!

  • Visit the historic Lesoma Village, known for its cultural significance to the region. See the impressive Kazungula Bridge, connecting Botswana with Zambia and experience a thrilling game drive in Chobe National Park, home to elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and incredible birdlife. Prepare to witness one of Africa’s richest wildlife concentrations. 

  • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner (both days)

 

Day 8: Victoria Falls & Chobe River Cruise

A bucket-list day awaits!

  • Morning: Cross into Zimbabwe for a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

  • Late Afternoon: Enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River—perfect for wildlife viewing and photography as animals come to drink along the riverbanks.
    Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 8 (Evening): Return Journey (Kasane ➝ Maun ➝ Ghanzi ➝ Gaborone)

After a fulfilling day, we begin our scenic return trip to Gaborone, stopping overnight in Maun or Ghanzi depending on travel pace.
This leg of the journey gives you a chance to take in Botswana’s diverse landscapes—from the Okavango fringes to the Kalahari stretches.

 

Day 9: Departure Day

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Sir Seretse Khama International Airport for your onward flight.
